Of the Lungu family's house, in Cudalbi, nothing was left but a heap covered with a tarpaulin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We chose a timber-frame build, which goes up fast: in November the walls were standing, by the end of the month the roof was on. Volunteers carried the timber by hand, piece by piece, off the lorry bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For months the family slept in a container.
