What it left behind could be seen from the air: a village cut in two by water and mud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The family's house was rebuilt on a timber frame, with a new roof. We worked together with Vama town hall and with local people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was one of those jobs where you could see most clearly that a community which moves fast can do in a few months what otherwise takes years.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The floods of 2025 took their house.
