Cookies are small files that a site leaves in your browser. Here is exactly what happens on our site.
What we set
Almost nothing. The site is built on WordPress, which sets cookies only for people logged in to the admin area — that is, for us, when we are writing. An ordinary visitor gets no cookie from us.
We do not use Google Analytics or any other statistics tool. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track visitors from one site to another.
What comes from others
On the front page we show the posts from our page. The images in them load from Facebook's servers, and Facebook can set cookies or recognise you by your IP address — especially if you are logged in to your account there.
Google Fonts
The letters the site is written in load from Google. Google sees your IP address at that moment. No cookies are set through this, but the request does reach them.
We control none of this. Their policies are at facebook.comand google.com.
How to turn them off
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, from its settings. You will usually find them under Settings → Privacy and security. Blocking them does not break our site — the Facebook feed may simply stop loading.
If anything changes
If we ever add statistics or other tools that set cookies, we will also add a box asking for your consent first. Until then, there is nothing to tick.
