The road of the “Marco” bus, all the way to Chernivtsi

120 children in an orphanage in Chernivtsi had no way of getting to school. A bus donated from Germany solved that.

In the autumn of 2022, the Your Camp orphanage in Chernivtsi had 120 school-age children and no way of getting them to school. The war had thrown transport into disarray.

We wrote about it on our page. HP Thiel, president of the Eifellicht foundation, shared it on the foundation's page. Marco Crebs, head of the transport company Linden Risen, donated a bus as soon as he saw it.

We brought the bus over from Germany. Eduart and Cristian drove it.

We called it “Marco”, after the man who gave it.

The joy at Your Camp was beyond description. The children could now get to school safely.

Thank you to our partners at Eifellicht e.V. and to the Linden Risen company.
