In September 2023 we started the “Manole” project — the association's first social house, for Ionuț, Oana and their children, in the village of Vama.
Two fundraising campaigns followed, and hundreds of hours of volunteer work. The walls and the ring beam were raised by volunteers who came from Stroiești, Gura Humorului, Câmpulung and Vama. The Eifellicht e.V. foundation in Germany supported the build with essential materials.
On Sunday, 17 November 2024, the community of Vama gathered in front of the house. We handed the keys to the Manole family — a project that began as a dream in 2023 and became real through years of work and solidarity.
