We met the Eifellicht e.V. foundation, from Germany, in 2022, on the roads to Ukraine. We have visited each other ever since.
They came to Bucovina: to Vama, to the painted monasteries, into people's homes, to the table.
We went to them too, in the Eifel. We saw where the transports set off from and who loads them.
Concrete things came out of that connection: the 24-tonne lorry of materials for the Manole house, the “Marco” bus for the orphanage in Chernivtsi, and the five lorries of medical equipment for Khotyn.
